Summary
Position Highlights:
Opportunity to join a NCI designated comprehensive cancer center Participation in cutting edge adoptive cellular therapy treatments Provides support in the selection, installation, configuration, conversion, implementation and ongoing utilization of clinical systems Analyzes, programs, tests, implements and maintains clinical information systems, as well as provides advanced knowledge in problem determination, evaluation and resolution Involvement in the rapidly growing multiple clinical trials within the cell therapy area.
The Ideal Candidate
Experienced in system administration Possesses a strong knowledge of emerging technologies as well as traditional systems Has a strong understanding of good documentation practices and requirements The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, engaged and will work closely with members of the Cell Therapy Team. Exhibits ability grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently Has earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Health Sciences, Biostatistics or other related field Is well versed in computer system validation process (UAT, URS, IQ, OQ, PQ, etc.) Shows proficiency in adherence to the applicable regulations and standards (e.g., GMP, GTP, FACT, CAP, JCO)
Responsibilities:
Assists in planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining assigned information systems supporting critical Moffitt-wide business operations Provides support in the selection, installation, configuration, conversion, implementation and ongoing utilization of the Cell Therapy Core LIMS system Functions on an advanced level in multiple platforms, business systems and tool sets Works independently in a high-paced team environment, meets deadlines and prioritizes work from multiple projects Creates and maintains LIMS related SOPs and Policies Assists in the development, implementation, and deployment of training Provides operations support and guidance in implementation of new LIMS functionality to end users Recommends the redesign and configuration of the system
Credentials and Qualifications:
Experience in small to medium project management desired. Background in a regulated industry, health or Laboratory preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft Access and other relational databases. Experience with Crystal Reports, and SQL language. Strong skills in the areas of communication, problem analysis, delivery on results, self-development, adaptability and flexibility, global perspective, time management and organizational skills.
