Job Description

This is a great role for someone that is starting out and wants to get their experience under their belt. This team is willing to offer a lot of training and with the right positive attitude and performance can see a lot of growth potential within their first year on the job. We are seeking a dedicated Cell Therapy Aseptic Operator who will play a crucial role in assisting clean room qualification and supporting the operation and processing within a manufacturing environment. This position involves working with cell cultures and products using aseptic techniques, ensuring compliance with GMP practices, and contributing to the qualification of clean rooms. This person will report into the Operations Managers and will be a part of a large team of operators. They will receive a lot of training by these managers and the team in order to aseptically gown for the clean room

ResponsibilitiesAssist in clean room qualification by burdening clean rooms for testing.Run supplies and materials necessary for clean room operation and processing.Aseptic gowning to enter clean rooms for qualification support.Work within manufacturing to process cells and samples.Process cultures, cryopreserve, and manipulate cell products using aseptic techniques.Follow GMP practices and adhere to SOPs.Support cellular facility operations and clinical trial requirements.Essential SkillsExperience with aseptic operations and techniques.Previous work in a biology lab, either academic or industry.Experience in fast-paced environments.Proficiency in laboratory gowning and clean room procedures.Knowledge of GMP practices and SOP adherence.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's degree in biology or related scientific field is preferred.Ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.Experience with cell/tissue culture, stem cell preparation, batch records, cell expansions, volume reductions, depletions, and enrichments.Clinical trial support experience.Work Environment

The work environment is a clinical manufacturing lab, requiring flexibility on shift hours, including working weekends and potentially late hours. Training will initially be Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, for the first 2-3 months. Post-training, shifts may include Thursday-Friday and Sunday-Monday, with a requirement to be flexible for first or second shifts. The role involves working in a clean room environment with a large team of operators, receiving comprehensive training and support from the operations team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.78/hr.
