Cell Lead 

 

 

The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate the operations of the assigned Cell to ensure optimal utilisation of production capacity and the delivery of high-quality products. This includes managing the Cell following Integrated Work System (IWS) principles and ensuring that foundational IWS capabilities are fully established and effectively executed. The role is also accountable for leading and aligning improvement initiatives and projects across all shifts to support business objectives. Additionally, the role ensures that machinery is operated correctly by qualified personnel, with full accountability for product quality, material yield, and housekeeping. It is essential that the team adheres to all organisational standards, policies, and regulations. The role also includes responsibility for resource planning and the development and growth of employees within the area.

 

Position

 

As a Cell Lead, you will: 

 

Be accountable for multiple shift results (24 hour) understood as safety, quality, reliability, production attainment, productivity and costs for assigned Cell; Own line DDS (Daily Directions Setting) and be responsible for DDS findings follow-up and ensuring their execution Perform regular analysis of the KPIs and definition/implementation of suitable improvement measures Specify short (24h) to mid-term priorities for his Cell (<90 days plans) Define priorities for the cell team and allocate resources to support the plan, participate in key planned activities Be responsible for the staffing in production together with function, in line with the ASP plan, and to make adjustments based on production volumes if needed Manage, develop and motivate the staff in the team by: defining clear objectives, monitoring the result and confirming both individual and group performance Assess and determine development and training needs of line team,  including future aspirations and succession planning Be responsible for the recruitment and introduction of new employees Be responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving the effectiveness of assigned Daily Management Systems Maintain safe work environment and safety rules and procedures by following global JTI standards and Swedish Legislation Follow up on reported incidents and ensure risk assessments in the area are valid Follow up on all unplanned absence for the personnel on the shift and ensuring the rehabilitation process is followed according to the applicable Work Environment handbook

 

Within 6 months, you will

 

Develop a strong understanding of the snus and nicotine pouch production processes Begin applying IWS principles in daily operations, including active use of Daily Management Systems (DMS) Establish yourself as a visible and trusted leader for your Cell team, identifying development needs and initiating at least one improvement project with measurable impact

 

Requirement

 

Degree in Production Management or Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience of working in production and with a managerial/supervisor function. Experience in Swedish Labor Law & Work Environment Knowledge of production technologies, project management, standards of factory improvement programs (KAIZEN, TPM, SMED, 5+S Ability to manage daily operations and ensure production targets are met. Understanding of quality standards and ensuring factory protocols are followed on the line Understanding of safety protocols and regulations
