Job Description
As a Cell Biologist, you will develop and optimize cell-based assays using mammalian cells, particularly focusing on skin cell models such as keratinocytes and fibroblasts. You will perform experiments utilizing molecular and cellular biology techniques to assess product efficacy and biological impact. This role requires you to cultivate, maintain, and store various human and mammalian cell lines under sterile conditions, measure cellular responses, and evaluate benefits using advanced analytical techniques.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize cell-based assays using mammalian cells, focusing on skin cell models.Perform experiments using molecular and cellular biology techniques.Cultivate, maintain, and store human and mammalian cell lines under sterile conditions.Measure cellular responses and evaluate benefits using advanced analytical techniques.Design and execute experiments for research and development, product improvement, and extension.Manage laboratory operations including equipment maintenance, reagent procurement, and inventory control.Maintain detailed and organized records of experimental procedures and results.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product testing and development.Essential SkillsProficiency in molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction, RT-PCR, and protein analysis.Strong experience in mammalian cell culture, with a preference for skin cell lines.Ability to optimize cell growth conditions and perform cell-based assays.Highly skilled in aseptic techniques and sterile lab practices.Strong organizational and documentation skills.Experience managing lab chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Detail-oriented in a fast-paced laboratory environment.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
