CEI Inspector Aide
We are looking for a CEI Inspector Aide in the Deland, FL area to add to our FDOT bridge and roadway team. This position will work alongside our technical experts including our Inspectors, Sr. Inspectors, resident engineers and project administrators in completion of inspection work in accordance with projects and client specifications.    Grow your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, flourish, and succeed. Main Responsibilities: - Duties are to assist higher-level inspectors. - Must obtain FDOT Intermediate MOT within the first six months of the assignment. '- High School graduate or equivalent. - Ability to perform basic mathematical calculation and follow simple technical instructions. Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 50 lbs. in the form of equipment, supplies, drawings, etc.. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, work near construction equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, potential work at heights and be able to work day, nights or weekends.
