OVERVIEW

Archer Western is currently seeking a Dump Truck Driver for the I 81 Widening, in Roanoke, VA.

The Dump Truck Driver will drive a dump truck with a capacity of at least three tons to transport goods or materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operates heavy duty truck to move and/or transport materials as required by jobsiteMust have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materialsMay oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipmentMay perform other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 Years Truck Driving Experience PreferredRequires a commercial driver's license (CDL)Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditionsRequires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properlyPossess a strong work ethic and desire to learnRequires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periodsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

El Conductor de Camión Volquete conducirá un camión volquete con una capacidad de al menos tres toneladas para transportar mercancías o materiales y descargar cargas.

CALIFICACIONES

3-5 años de experiencia en conducción de camiones preferidoRequiere una licencia de conducir comercial (CDL)Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climáticasRequiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con compañeros de trabajo y supervisores para asegurar que los proyectos se completen adecuadamentePoseer una fuerte ética de trabajo y ganas de aprenderRequiere buena destreza manual; se requiere estar estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos períodosDebe poder pasar una prueda de consumo de drogas previa al empleo
