Join our Finance team and advance your career as a CDD Process and Assurance Manager.
Role Synopsis:
The CDD Process and Assurance Manager’s role is to run the process assurance and reporting activities for those activities supported by FBT with the strive to provide process assurance and reporting of CDD to the CDD Senior Manager and the respective head of controls for each segment. The role will serve as the owner of the CDD Deskbook, including its associated processes and tools. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that all critical updates are implemented in a timely and accurate manner. This is to ensure alignment with the procedures and policies defined by the BP Group and supported by FBT. The role is to also be responsible for all reporting requirements both for internal CDD team and externally to partners. This role will lead the process improvement and changes to Group procedure that have impact to FBT CDD Operations. Also responsible for knowledge management and retention, while serving as the single point of accountability for maintaining relationships with the assigned segment.
Key Accountabilities:
Process Leadership
Take ownership of the development and maintenance of the CDD Operational Deskbook.
Responsible to ensure that vital updates to the end to end process (including tools) to support changes in Group procedure and risks management activities
Lead all aspects of and facilitate the development of CDD capability into the team across FBT centres, by supporting the coordination of the capabilities assessment and training requirements
Support business growth agenda and critical initiatives in line with CDD risk management requirements
Ensure Compliance to CDD policy and procedures by working closely with CDD Operations, Enablement, Ethics & Compliance, Segments, Legal team and the CDD Operations team.
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency agenda to CDD processes across the centres.
Ensure counterparty data integrity in the systems is preserved and improved in line with CDD policy and procedures. Provide critical metrics and MI supporting the effective operations of the CDD Operations team and in support of internal and external reporting and assurance. Focal point for the performance and business reporting (qualitative reporting & insights)
Actively participate in the CDD practitioner and networking forums. To be the SPA from the CDD team for the segment allocated
Participate and contribute to the reviews of the CDD and High Risk Agent Group Control Process (HRAGCP) with fellow practitioners and subject matter experts from Ethics & Compliance (E&C), Legal,Segment etc. To be the SPA from the CDD team for the segment allocated
Work closely with E&C, Finance Groups, Procurement Groups, Credit Group, Internal Control and supported businesses.
Act as an advisor to E&C, Legal and Segments on CDD Operational matters.
Work with the Project and Compass team to Ensure end to end process requirements are prioritised and incorporated into the product deployment backlog’s
Act as the final authority for control and user access on the CDD platform
Own the CDD tool (Aravo, WC1, DNB, Transparint, Seaweb) and act as the focal point for engagement with the tool service providers ; including managing the contract renewal and service level adherence.
Perform control and monitoring activities (New, Refresh and OGS alert review) and the Quality Assurance for the end-to-end process
Focal point for deployment/communication of revised Group CDD procedure across FBT CDD teams.
Responsible for knowledge management and retention (including SOP review and update)
Support closure of audit actions (both internal and business audit action)
Focal point for any ad-hoc / pro-active screening relating to Sanctions updates
Process and Data Integrity
Ensure all information are stored securely in accordance with the requirements of the CDD process ensuring compliance with any data privacy requirements
Maintain the consolidated Key Process Indicators for CDD process and input to segment risk heads and E&C.
Drive system, tools and process standardisation
Implement process automation
Global People Management
Act as line manager for Process & Assurance Leads
Participate actively in FBT Enablement talent management processes to develop skills and capability within the team that provides developmental opportunities and meaningful career paths for members of the service delivery network.
Support the development of the new organisation culture within FBT CDD organisation, in line with the FBT Employee Value Proposition to retain and attract the right talent, and encourage a high performing culture
Manage the relevant partner relationships within other FBT Services lines, and with the segment teams
Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE)
Align with all Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policies and procedures and all HSSE directions of line manager or HSSE Manager
Participate in HSSE training and discussions, workplace inspections and audits, assist in the resolution of Health & Safety issues, and contribute to successful implementation of HSSE programmes and initiatives
Experience and Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Finance, Accounting, or professional certification such as ACAMS or ICA.
10+ years of working experience in CDD and Pre-Qualification / AML, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
Significant experience of people management and handling large scale operations
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Strong partner relationship management skills
A proactive and dynamic approach
Ability to communicate and influence across different levels in the organization.
