**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** 12 Hour Night Shift **Description:** **Details:** Night Shift **JOB SUMMARY** The CCU Patient Care Tech provides care to patients in CCU under the supervision of the registered nurse. This care focuses primarily on personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and activities of daily living. The CCU tech performs receptionists, secretarial, housekeeping, and restocking duties and serves as communication liaison in the department. **POSITION QUALIFICATIONS** Education [formal]:Successful completion of formal Nurse Aid course/training verified through transcript or original program certificate of completion, required. **OR** Currently enrolled in an A.D.N., B.S.N., program with successful completion of first semester of A.D.N. program, OR first year completion of nursing courses in BSN OR graduate of an A.D.N., Diploma, BSN or LPN program. **OR** Registered on State of Iowa Nurse Aide registry listing as “Active” or eligible, preferred Experience: Nursing Assistant experience preferred Basic computer skill required. Special Skills and Competencies: Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and flexibility to meet department needs. Self-motivated and detail oriented individual.
