**Responsibilities:**
**Collections & Deductions Coding**
+ **Obtain customer payment detail (remittance)** to correctly code payments and deductions.
+ **Request backup documentation** from customers as needed to support payment application.
+ **Contact customers** regarding payments, documenting their responses for records and future action.
+ **Escalate issues** (e.g., missing information or unresolvable coding) to Collection Analysts and coordinate with Local Finance and Commercial teams.
+ **Assess and recommend actions** for cases with insufficient remittance detail for proper coding.
+ **Monitor and match customer remittance information** against the internal coding process to ensure accuracy.
+ **Categorize deductions** by reason code (GTN & Logistic Deduction categories, e.g. pricing, promo, shipping, etc.).
+ **Work with internal teams** (Cash Application, GTN Deduction, Local Finance, Logistics Deductions, Collections) for resolution and agreement on payment adjustments and deduction coding.
+ **Maintain accurate deduction records** : reason codes, amounts, supporting documents, etc.
**Reporting & Analysis**
+ **Generate and prepare reports** on unidentified/unapplied balances and outstanding items by customer and by aging.
+ **Track and report trends** in unidentified deductions, offering insights and identifying improvement opportunities.
**Customer Service**
+ **Guide customers and address their needs** to achieve fast (first contact) resolution.
+ **Manage and respond to mailbox/customer service requests** as received.
**Additional Team Contributions**
+ **Process back office requests** for refunds, offsets, collections, and non-sufficient fund/returned item cases by the bank or customers.
+ **Support LATAM account management:**
+ Responsible for LATAM group accounts and generating monthly statements for collection.
+ Backup for US statement process, issuing 17,000 statements to customers per month.
**Call Management**
+ **Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls** mainly related to payment collections and queries.
+ **Collect significant volumes via credit card and ACH payments** , managing balances on 200+ accounts that often utilize over 80% of their credit limit.
**Key Skills & Competencies**
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills (deduction coding, trend analysis)
+ Excellent communication skills (customer interaction, team collaboration)
+ Attention to detail for accurate application of payments and deduction reason coding
+ Problem-solving and escalation capability when payment application is unclear
+ Ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
+ Customer service orientation to achieve first contact resolution
+ Team player, working cross-functionally with finance, commercial, and operations groups
**Requierements:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting , Finance, Economy or other related fields
+ Basic knowledge of Order to Cash process and customer payment applications
+ Prior experience in a customer service environment
+ Basic knowledge of Accounting principals
+ Advance English Level
