Responsibilities + Provides direct patient care. + Performs various duties related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring and circulation duties. + Demonstrates the ability to meet the department's work schedule. + Takes emergency call as scheduled. The position requires on-call. Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of call-in when on a call shift. + Must own a telecom device capable of receiving call-in page. + Communicates effectively with other team members, including physicians, nurse, cardiovascular technicians, clinical partners, unit secretaries, and effectively with patients and families. + Demonstrates self-development by keeping abreast of various trends in invasive vascular and cardiology and is proficient with new techniques. + Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations. + Integrates and demonstrates FOCUS Values and Expectations for personal and service excellence to guide professional behaviors, while adhering to the policies and procedures of UPH-DM.
