The role:
We currently have a great new opportunity for a Catering Team Lead to join our team at Winfield Hospital, based in Gloucester. You will be reporting into the Catering/Housekeeping Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day delivery of catering services for the Hospital.
Essential:
Current level 3 food hygiene certificateRelevant experience from industry with team lead skillsOutstanding knowledge of food, culinary skills, and expertiseHave an approachable, positive and proactive manner with a growth mindsetDemonstrated ability to lead a team Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredSound written and verbal communication skills Planning and organisational skills Good computer skills (MS Office package) Flexibility and adaptabilityDesirables:
Catering Team Lead experienceKnowledge of special dietary requirementsFood Safety Agency Allergen Awareness TrainingExperience in covering multiple duties within the Catering Department, IE Chef, Catering assistantDemonstrate commercial and financial awarenessPrevious health sector experienceOperational Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise food preparation and delivery for the HospitalSupport Catering/Housekeeping manager with timely production of the catering team rotaAssist with training the Catering teamPlacing ordersMonthly stock takeSupport Catering/Housekeeping manager to monitor and control food cost within budgeted guidelinesOversee the food safety management system in line with all Ramsay catering policiesMeasurable Outcomes:
Follow Company guidelines on purchasing from nominated suppliers;Adherence to Ramsay food hygiene policy, COSHH policy and HACCP policy.Benefits:
