Delaware North Sportservice is searching for part-time Catering Supervisors to join our team at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. As Catering Supervisor, you will work under the direction of the department manager to ensure effective operations of all event spaces, including training and supervision of catering team members. What will you do?Train and supervise catering team membersEnsures all food preparations, presentations, and service meet company standardsEnsures responsible alcohol service and reports any violationsAnswer guest questions and resolve guest complaintsEnsures that all workstations, pantries, and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked

More about youMinimum of six months' experience in a hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment required; previous supervisory experience preferredDetail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skillsAbility to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high-pressure environmentAbility to effectively communicate with guests, and retain and communicate menu information and service preferencesBasic math skills to accurately account for cash and inventoryNo college degree required

Physical requirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-upAbility to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand
