Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time Banquet Servers to join our team at Hudson Yards in New York, New York. As a Banquet Server, you will provide outstanding customer service while serving food and beverage products in a banquet setting, ensuring that Hudson Yards guests' needs are being met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner. The ideal Banquet Server candidate will be friendly, positive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay $22.00 - $24.00 / hour

What will you do?Sets up tables for the function in accordance with the banquet event orderAccurately transports food and beverages to guests promptlyPerforms necessary tasks to service guests, including: taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishesServes alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.Monitors guest needs continually, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaintsReplenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable)Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow team membersBreaks down the event according to company procedures

More about youMust be 18 or olderMinimum of 3 months' previous experience in food and beverage service preferredExcellent guest service skillsAbility to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, including listening skills, and the ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctlyNo high school diploma or GED required
