**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
This Catering Sales Manager is a key member of our restaurant’s off-premise initiatives team. They embody our mission of “Pleasing People” by providing exceptional catering guest experiences and fostering meaningful community connections. Through a strategic and hands-on approach, they are responsible for building and maintaining new business through direct sales efforts, events, and networking. The Catering Sales Manager also plays a crucial role in strengthening business relationships with both internal and external partners, while driving executional excellence in alignment with Cracker Barrel brand standards.
This is a remote position, and the ideal candidate will be located within or near the assigned market. They will operate with a high degree of autonomy, take initiative to grow their territory, and work closely with store teams to support execution.
**Drive Catering Sales & Execution**
+ Execute the strategy and vision for Cracker Barrel Catering to increase off-premise sales in the assigned market.
+ Develop targeted monthly sales plans in partnership with leadership.
+ Generate new business through proactive outreach, cold-calling, community involvement, and event participation.
+ Foster long-term relationships with existing clients through consistent communication and exceptional service.
+ Enter and maintain accurate records in Salesforce (CRM); experience with Olo is preferred.
+ Collaborate with store teams and District Managers to support flawless catering execution and guest satisfaction
**Partner & Collaborate**
+ Work closely with store leadership to reinforce off-premise training and processes.
+ Participate in General Manager and Market Meetings to present results, share updates, and align on execution plans.
+ Act as the primary point of contact for catering needs in the market, supporting store teams in execution as needed.
**** **** **Operational Support**
**Stay informed on current catering menu offerings, processes, and systems.**
+ Support market and brand-wide catering initiatives in partnership with Marketing and Field Leadership.
+ Maintain the highest level of professionalism and brand representation in all interactions.
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
**This is a self-led position requiring high levels of ownership, accountability, and drive.**
**Candidates must be available during evenings, weekends, and off-hours as business needs demand—especially during peak catering seasons.**
**This position requires full availability during peak catering season .**
**Field travel is required; a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a passing MVR are necessary.**
**Education & Experience:**
**High school diploma required; college coursework or degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.**
**Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant operations, catering sales, or hospitality sales.**
**Previous experience with Salesforce (CRM) and Olo strongly preferred.**
**Skills & Attributes:**
**Strong sales acumen with the ability to cold call, prospect, and close deals.**
**Excellent verbal and written communication skills.**
**Tech-savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and digital tools.**
**Self-motivated and organized, with strong time management skills.**
**Collaborative, high-energy, and passionate about the Cracker Barrel brand and guest experience.**
