Embassy Suites Napa Valley Hotel is a mile from Downtown and within eight miles of a plethora of local wineries. Our all-suite hotel is surrounded by landscaped grounds featuring California redwoods, rose gardens, and resident wildlife. We offer a complimentary made-to-order breakfast and evening cocktail reception.

Currently in the final stages of a major renovation and rebranding to Curio Collection by Hilton in early 2026.  We are redefining Napa hospitality bringing authentic, distinctive programming on-property. Our 7-acre resort will include refined interiors, a luxurious spa, open-air courtyard, meditation gardens and exceptional culinary experiences.

We are looking for a Catering Manager who will be responsible for managing multiple events simultaneously, ensuring seamless communication across departments and who can deliver outstanding guest experience for corporate functions, banquets, and special events.

\n

What will I be doing?

\n

As Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the development of market segment(s) including solicitation of new customer relationships, and negotiation of business through proposals and contracts to close business. Creative design of menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience.  Maintain existing relationships with corporate and social accounts. Fostering all internal customer relationships to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events.  Directs event logistics to affected departments and team members responsible for event execution.  Serve as the primary contact and is responsible for his/her experience. Specifically, your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nTo organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals. \nTimely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person. \nCreate and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations. \nDemonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes. \nResolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts. \nSelling and influencing both internal and external clients. \nMake decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution. \nEnsure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed.  \n

The salary range for this role is $32.00 - $36.00 Plus Bonus and hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
