Catering and Events Coordinator

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing memorable weddings and social events experience that exceed guest expectations\.
**What will I be doing?**
As a Catering and Events Coordinator, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Prepare detailed event proposals, contracts, and timelines
• Conduct site visits and promote Hotel facilities and services
• Maintain accurate records of client requirements, budgets, etc\.
• Generate contracts
• Generate food and beverage revenue for groups and meetings
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets for weddings and social events
• Handle negotiations with meeting planners and generate Banquet Event Orders based on agreed contractual terms\. Prepare and process all required paperwork to include BEOs
• Support daily distribution of BEO's, reader boards and change logs
• Maintain excellent working relationship from initial lead call through follow\-up solicitation and maintain contact with all support departments, including banquets and functions room departments, until event conclusion
• Work with Administrative Assistants in maintaining file room and proper stocking of Catering Marketing Collateral
• Follow up with client’s post\-event to gather feedback and build long\-term relationships\.
• Stay updated on wedding and event trends to offer innovative ideas and packages

• Graduate or MBA in Management, Hospitality and Marketing
• Previous sales groups and events experience, preferably in hospitality
• Ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Sense of organization and planning
• Good command of Azerbaijani, Russian and English
• Good computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Proactive approach to meet deadlines and objectives
