If you are driven by achieving results, intellectually curious, and excited about shaping the future of snacking in retail at Walmart, then this is the team for you! * What You’ll Do * * * Proactively identify marketplace trends* which lead to results driven strategies and tactics * * Optimize best-in-class processes* to ensure efficient success of team goals * * Develop execution strategies* to drive sales and share for your respective business unit * * Optimize distribution, expand space, and create shopper points of interruption* to expand household penetration and conversion * * Balance* multiple workstreams at once requiring organization and prioritization * * Develop shelf and merchandising strategies to* drive Hershey and Category growth * Manage fundamental details for projects that *create the future* of the category, including fixture innovations, feature implementations, merchandising standards, retail execution and beyond * * Leverage analytical tools* such as Space Planning, MasterCard APT, Alteryx, PowerBI, Circana, Numerator, Scintilla and more * Synthesize *actionable insights* using retailer data, internal/syndicated data sources, incrementality data, and shopper insights * * Enhance cross-functional capabilities* by working alongside counterparts in other areas of our Category Management Team, Sales, Supply Chain, Omni Marketing, Retail Execution and more * Leverage knowledge base as a leading *category expert,* both to Walmart and within your team * * Question the status-quo* and continually challenge yourself and the team with what is possible to expand consumption and households * What You’ll Need to Succeed * * Understand and show a track record of success in driving sales through Category Management principles and processes * Strong organizational skills that include prioritizing multiple projects and flexibility with change * Intellectual Curiosity * Retail Solutions Mindset * Problem-solving capabilities * Proficient technical skills with Excel, PowerBI, JDA/ProSpace, Alteryx (not required but a plus) * Syndicated Data & Consumer Data experience with Circana, Nielsen, Scintilla, APT &/or Numerator * Strong presentation skills * Data driven analytical and story telling skills * Thrives in cross functional team environment * Knowledge of Category Management processes and understanding of Consumer/Shopper Behavior * Category Management experience with a CPG company (*2 years minimum*) * Bachelor’s Degree required The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
