WELCOME TO THE ERA OF REINVENTION
As our Category Manager in our Life Store category (Homewares & Gifting), you’ll lead the vision, strategy, and performance of this exciting and growing category. You’ll shape what home at Typo looks and feels like- bringing to life curated homewares, thoughtful gifting, and lifestyle products that blend creativity with purpose.
This role is about more than just great product. It's about owning the full journey- from idea to execution- and making sure we deliver trend-forward, meaningful pieces that connect with our customer and spark joy in the everyday.
You’ll lead with insight and intuition, blending creative thinking with commercial sharpness. As the homewares and gifting category continues to grow, you’ll be the one driving it forward, redefining what our customers expect from Typo at home.
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Build and execute a bold, insight-led product strategy for Typo’s Life Store (Homewares & Gifting) category
• Own the full product lifecycle—from initial concept through to performance and profitability
• Use trend forecasting and customer insights to identify white space and unlock new opportunities
• Drive category performance across sales, margin, product mix, and range growth
• Collaborate with design, planning, marketing, and production to bring compelling product stories to life
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate sustainable, value-driven outcomes
• Inspire and lead your team to think big, move fast, and deliver their best work
YOU ARE
• An experienced buyer or category manager, ideally with a strong background in homewares, lifestyle or gifting
• A visionary with a love for design, trend, and product development—and the commercial mindset to back it up
• A strategic thinker who’s comfortable balancing creative ambition with commercial accountability
• A passionate and collaborative leader who brings out the best in those around you
• Curious, bold, and always looking to challenge the status quo
