**Category Manager-Target - Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area**
The Category Manager for Philips North America will partner with Target to provide analytical and merchandising expertise to drive category strategy in the health and beauty department.
**Your role:**
+ Your objective is to drive category growth for Target and Target.com via optimized assortments, sound merchandising strategies, and competitive insights. You will also support Philips’ internal sales, marketing and planning teams to achieve market share and sales targets.
+ The position will interact with the Target category buyer and members of the merchandising team. It will be part of the Philips category management team.

**You're the right fit if:**
+ You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in a category or sales analytics role that has required data management and storytelling to advance merchandising strategy. Experience with Target is highly preferred with a proven track record of developing strong relationships with a retailer’s merchandising team.
+ Your skills include being highly proficient with syndicated POS and consumer panel data (Circana, Nielsen, Numerator) and professional expertise in Microsoft and Powerpoint. Effectively utilize numerous data resources to continuously provide insights and recommendations for the 4 P’s (product, placement, pricing, and promotion).
+ You have the ability to manage the entire planogram-building process with substantial attention to detail using the **Blue Yonder Space Planning software package** .
+ You have an omnichannel-oriented mind with an understanding of how make improvements in both the online and offline retail environments. You have adaptability and drive with a high sense of urgency.
+ You have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a marketing or consumer-oriented discipline.

**How we work together**
This is a remote, home-based role and with an expectation that you are available to meet at the Target headquarters as required to execute your duties. There is also an expectation that you frequently visit Target stores and competitors in the marketplace to keep apprised of the latest trends.
You will be part of a 3-person Philips category management team in the Minneapolis market and will connect with the group on a regular basis. The expectation is that this employee is located in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area. This role will report to the Director of Category Management of Philips that is based in Stamford, CT.

**Philips Transparency Details**
The pay range for this position in (Minneapolis, MN) is $95,000 to $152,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
