As our new Category Manager for Meeting and Events, you’ll be at the heart of strategic sourcing and supplier innovation, helping us elevate our global presence through impactful events and partnerships.What will you be doing?You’ll lead the charge in managing our Meetings and Events category, working closely with stakeholders across Marketing and Medical Education to shape strategy and policy. From sourcing venues and managing supplier relationships to driving innovation and ensuring compliance, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things M&E. You’ll collaborate across departments, influence decision-making, and ensure our events deliver value, quality and impact.What will you need to be successful?Success in this role means being a trusted partner and strategic thinker. You’ll need to bring energy, insight and a passion for procurement excellence.Proven experience in procurement, ideally 5+ years, with a strong understanding of category managementA bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law or a technical field, with a preference for CIPS or similar qualificationsAbility to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence across functionsA proactive approach to supplier performance, risk management and innovation
