At **Danfoss Power Solutions** , we’re on the lookout for a **Category Manager** to take charge of our **Various commodities including turned and formed parts, sealings** **and C-parts** categories in Europe. With a commodity spend of € 30-50m EUR million, you’ll join a global team and play a vital role in shaping our supplier base, especially as we expand our footprint in fast-growing regions. You’ll collaborate across business units and functions to create long-term value while ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and technology readiness. This isn’t just about managing a commodity — it’s about shaping how Danfoss builds strong, future-ready supplier relationships across Europe. As our **Category Manager** for Europe you’ll lead sourcing strategies that directly impact quality, cost, and innovation. You'll play a central role in driving supplier performance and building a resilient footprint in strategic regions, especially in **emerging European markets** . **Job Responsibilities** + Develop and execute supplier strategies in alignment with global objectives. + Lead **value-based negotiations** and long-term agreements with key suppliers. + Build and optimize our **supplier base** , with a focus on growth regions. + Mitigate supply chain risk and manage performance, capacity, and cost challenges. + Ensure supplier compliance with contracts, standards, and certifications. + Support cross-functional teams with insights and clear communication. + Represent Procurement in regional and global projects. + Travel approximately **2** **0%** , primarily within Europe. You’re a strategic thinker who knows how to get results. Whether you’re sitting at the negotiating table or aligning with internal stakeholders, you bring confidence, structure, and a sharp eye for long-term value.
