As a Category Manager, you will manage all aspects of an assigned line of products including sales, purchasing, pricing and merchandising. **Job Description** + **Full Time, On-Site Role** + **Location: 2215 Union Ave., Sheboygan, WI 53081** **You will contribute by:** + Developing strategic business plans for assigned categories. + Creating sales, buying, and profit plans to achieve target sales and margin goals. + Managing the product mix, including variety, selection, and quality. + Establishing and maintaining retail and wholesale pricing programs to meet specific gross profit and revenue objectives. + Planning product promotions to support departmental goals. + Developing and maintaining category plan-o-grams and overseeing retail merchandising execution. + Managing inventory replenishment and investment buying activities. + Overseeing company and customer assets, including store space, inventory, customer profitability, and company profitability. + Leading efforts related to inventory management, ad coordination, price/data integrity, retail pricing, vendor partnerships, market analysis, and gross margin control. **We’re looking for candidates with:** + Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical documents, or government regulations. + Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. + Confidence in presenting information and responding to inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal leadership. + Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. + Analytical thinking skills, including problem identification, data collection, fact-finding, and drawing sound conclusions. + Ability to interpret various types of instructions presented in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. + 2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Willingness and ability to travel to stores approximately 10% of the time. **Environment:** + Store: Office Temperature (65F to 75F) + Office: Office Temperature (65F to 75F) **We offer:** + Weekly Pay + Benefits available from day 1 (medical, dental, vision, and more) + Company matched 401k + PTO and Holiday Pay offered + Career Progression Opportunities + Tuition Reimbursement + Employee Health & Wellness program + Employee Discounts / Purchasing programs + Employee Assistance Program **Every person matters.** We keep our values alive through a culture that embraces differences and ensures that every person matters. **The Fine Print** This Job advertisement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of employment.
