The position is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure that procurement processes and activities meet standards. This role involves conducting procurement analyses, performing data analysis, and developing and implementing procurement plans. The Procurement Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to address procurement issues, perform cost analysis, and implement cost-saving measures. This role also involves training and mentoring procurement staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Geographically, this role defines and supports development of IT global procurement strategy at regional levels (EMEA & AP) and supports at global level (including Americas).
