**Time Type:** Full time **Remote Type:** **Job Family Group:** Commercial **Job Description Summary:** Position Summary: The Category Management Associate will be responsible for executing business strategies that support the Breakthru Beverage vision and initiatives while working closely with cross-functional partners. A primary focus of this role will be leading and supporting resets in large, high-volume chain accounts, ensuring strong execution and alignment with customer needs. This role will also contribute to the development of category assortments, sales-driving concepts, key items, and promotional strategies that reflect brand priorities and deliver value to both customers and suppliers. **Job Description:** **Job Responsibilities:** + Daily merchandising of new accounts, store resets and remodels within the beer and non-alcoholic category as it relates to Category Management functions and activities. + Create shelf schematics for new and existing retail outlets and key retail chains. + Engage sales teams to identify brand/category opportunities within accounts. + Analyze brand trends for the use and creation of shelf schematics, floor activation plans, and overall account insights for new and existing retail outlets and key retail chains. + Assist on sales calls for new and existing accounts for the purpose of shelf schematic proposals and market analysis. + Work with key independent and chain retailers to determine brand/category opportunities and develop action strategies that align with retailer’s overall strategy, while also aligning with suppliers’ objectives. + Maintain data information sources which align with category management output processes. + Analyze retail sales data & Nielsen/IRI data to determine actionable insights. + Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma and/or equivalent + Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related area + Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field + Be 21 years of age, with a valid Nevada driver’s license + Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance + Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software **Physical Requirements:** + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone **Competencies:** + Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically. + Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available. _This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
