Category Enablement Associate Manager

As the Category Enablement Associate Manager, you will support the Demand Planning & Forecasting process on our Business Teams. Your in-depth business and supply chain knowledge will be crucial in maximizing the productivity of our inventory assets. You'll partner with Business Leaders n the Category team to drive strategy, develop best practices, deliver training, and provide day-to-day support to our Demand Planning Analysts. A successful candidate will be a proactive leader with strong mentoring skills and a deep understanding of inventory management.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you’ll doCoach, train, and mentor Demand Planning Analysts to deliver optimal business results.Partner with Business Team Leadership to maximize multi-channel inventory performance.Collaborate with the broader Category Enablement team to align solutions and strategies.Maintain business rhythms to guide consistent behaviors and inventory management.Define and coordinate unique inventory strategies for key events and projects.Serve as Subject Matter Expert in purchasing, inventory disposition, and forecasting.Liaise with cross-functional teams to define future needs and improve business results.
Basic qualifications2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain, Business Management, Retail or Inventory ManagementStrong interpersonal skills and collaboration with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and at multiple levels of an organizationExperience in Demand Planning, forecasting with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at multiple levels of an organizationStrong written & oral communication skills, as well as a high level of responsibilityAptitude & passion for problem solving, educating, motivating, and influencing others to consistently achieve optimal outcomesDemonstrated high level of organizational & time management skillsDemonstrated ability & curiosity of learning new complex process/systems/skills with the goal to translate and educate others
