Category Development Coordinator (Walmart)

We are seeking a Category Executive to be a customer advisor focused on the development of the Pet Nutrition category at Walmart Mexico. This role will leverage shopper insights and data analytics to formulate and execute a strategic plan aimed at achieving growth that exceeds market standards within this category, including the construction of planograms.

What Are We Looking For?

Marketing, Category Management, Trade Marketing, and Data Analytics professional

Experience collaborating with Mexican retailers (experience with Walmart will be considered a differentiator)

Space Planning (Blue Yonder) skills

Power BI (nice to have)

Strong soft skills, including proactivity, peer and supplier leadership, curiosity and analytical thinking.

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?

Support the development of the Pet Nutrition category at Walmart.

Ensure the correct implementation of the Perfect Store at Walmart.

Implement and help develop the Category Strategy for Walmart, ensuring it reflects the Global Mars Petcare Category Vision.

Provide shopper insights, ongoing reporting & scorecarding, portfolio management, and planogramming to Walmart.

Define the optimal shopper experience (portfolio, layout, siting, space shares) and support consistent execution to accelerate the growth of the pet category, primarily through our brands at Walmart, driving a long-term vision for our customers (both internally and externally).
