The opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a full-time Category Analyst, Procurement to join our team in Buffalo, New York. Pay

Minimum \u2013 Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $60,406 - $76,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?Analyze and categorize spend data, consolidating line-item purchases and preparing scheduled reports to highlight trends, variances, and financial performanceReview cost of goods and market trends, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, category optimization, and improved compliance with contracted programsSupport the development of analytical tools and reporting processes, enhancing visibility into spend performance and strategic sourcing opportunitiesCollaborate with suppliers to stay informed on new products, services, and technologies, building strong category knowledge and supplier relationshipsDeliver actionable insights through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, ensuring timely communication with management and key stakeholders

More about youBachelor's degree in general business, supply chain, or related field; associate degree with equivalent work experience may substitute Strong project management and data analysis skills Minimum of 1 year of procurement experience administering supplier programs Financial acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience working with Tableau, procure-to-pay systems, and PowerBI preferred Experience working with commercial contract terms and service level agreements preferred
