Sentara BelleHarbour Advanced Imaging Center, located in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring a CAT Scan Technologist to join our Team!

Overview

In this role you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards; perform Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations; follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines; administer CT Contrast per protocol.
 

We conduct approximately 40 exams per day. We have two GE scanners (Maxima and Discovery).

CAT Scan Technologist IIFlexi StatusRotating9 hour or 12-hour shifts are an option depending on who you are covering for.On call required for one week, every 8 weeks

Education

Trade School Graduate

Certification/Licensure

ARRT(R), ARRT(T), CNMT, NMTCB at time of hire are acceptableMust obtained ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.   BLS

Experience

7 - 12 months of sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$28.16 - $46.94. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
