We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Reinsurance Broking team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The role: Casualty & Specialty Reinsurance Broker

An opportunity has arisen for a Broker Role, within our UK Casualty & Specialty team. This role will present the right candidate with an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, that handles a diverse portfolio of business.

We will rely on you to:

Build and maintain strong relationships and develop strategic partnerships with reinsurers whilst helping the team to deliver the best terms as well as a first class service for ClientsAct as the reference point for advice and technical expertise to the internal Client servicing teams such as Client Support Services and Broker Support Services.Assist in providing recommendations and advice on placement strategy, programme structure and market conditions including presentations to clients and prospects where appropriateAssist Senior Brokers and actively develop solutions for clients needs.Assist with responding to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly in order to maintain client satisfaction.Demonstrate proficient awareness of market conditions to better serve clients and obtain the best terms from the Markets.Develop strong product knowledge within Casualty and Specialty lines.Ensure high quality client service.Initiate renewal process of placements in good time anticipating and preventing problems when possible.May be required to assist colleagues placing different lines of business within the Team.Assist on new business development.

What you need to have:

Proven experience within an established re/insurance broking team.Strong written and verbal communication skills.The ability to assist in build, manage and develop relationships.Willingness and aptitude to help and produce business
