Our client, a leading multinational insurance company, operating in over 50 countries, is looking for a Claims Handler to join their Glasgow-based team. What You'll Do
Manage a caseload of up to 350 claims, including:Employer’s LiabilityProduct LiabilityA small volume of motor claimsAssess liability and claim value (quantum) up to £25,000Negotiate settlements with policyholders and brokersProvide a professional, customer-focused claims serviceAttend review meetings and collaborate with internal teamsIdentify complaints and handle them effectively or escalate as neededSupport internal processes such as audits and account reviews
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience handling insurance claims (casualty experience is a plus)Background in financial services or insurance is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service mindsetComfortable using Microsoft Office and able to learn new systemsExperience in a commercial insurance claims environment is advantageous
