The Role

To meet busy production demands, we are inviting applications for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our pool of Casual Production Workers for our Smithton site.

Working to achieve the daily production schedules within our plant and distribution teams, the successful candidates will be hard-working, driven and flexible. Although previous experience is not essential, relevant warehousing, food processing and/or manufacturing experience will be advantageous. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.  

Role Requirements

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate:

Strong commitment to working safely.

Availability to work on our rotating 24-hour / 7 day per week shift profiles.

Flexibility to perform different roles and be available to work on call.

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

Strong communication skills with the ability to think logically and quickly, sometimes under pressure.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Current Forklift license including relevant operational experience is highly regarded.

Food handling skills or qualifications is advantageous.

Cleaning/sanitation experience is advantageous.
