Priority consideration and preference will be given for individuals that have familiarity with the Carnegie Mellon community and university facilities. **_Core responsibilities include:_** + Ensure the safety of patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies + Exhibit knowledge and application of lifeguard surveillance and rescue techniques + Understand facilities policies and procedures + Other duties as assigned Adaptability, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within Carnegie Mellon University.
