Shift:

•   1st shift - Mon - Fri 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM EST


Responsibilities:

Utilize Production ERP (Synchoro), Access, and complete necessary data entrySet gauge pins accurately and according to work instructionsRead blueprints and tape measure accuratelyMay be trained to act as forklift operator or other powered equipment handler.Cast products to company specification and review qualityOperate all equipment to perform job correctly and safelyLoad tunnel ovenComplete batching as neededInspect, clean dies and related equipment at least dailyCleans equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery.Take measurements to verify product quality as neededVerifies measuring instruments (for example: gauges, calipers, and micrometers, etc.) are in proper working order.Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines as neededCommunicate suggestions for continuous process improvementsAlways maintain a safe work environment.Train new operators as neededReport any issues to supervisor or lead operatorMust adhere to all company and location policies and safety rulesFollows work orders to customer and other specifications to ensure the proper process is followedOther duties as assignedThese responsibilities may change in the future to keep up with customer demands, equipment changes and improved Standard Operating Procedures

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to work in noisy environmentsMust be able to work extended hours when requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as requiredAbility to bend, stoop, walk, twist, lift, stand, push and pull materialAbility to follow written instructions.Ability to follow proper safety protocols.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain a positive attitudeBasic math skillsHighly motivated

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational school diploma a plus.Job training for this position is provided
