The key responsibilities of the role include:

Implementing the necessary changes to CASS policies, procedures, process and systems to facilitate compliance with the CASS regulationsProducing and providing assessment of Management Information to the CASS stakeholders.Assisting in the preparation of the Client Money Asset Return (CMAR), and the on-going maintenance of the CASS Resolution Pack.Undertaking various CASS related QA activities, including the review of CASS breach formsAssisting in the ongoing review and update of the CASS Risk and Control Matrix.Supporting in the delivery of required regulatory changes projects or business initiatives in relation to CASS.Providing Subject Matter advice and guidance on CASS rules to support the businessSupporting oversight activities to ensure compliance to the UK Deposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS)Providing subject matter advice and guidance on DGS requirements to support the businessOther duties as assigned.

 

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

Comprehensive & technical knowledge & understanding of CASS rules and application/treatment;Familiarity with Deposit Guarantee Scheme and working experience of its application.Understand and challenge the business processes and controls and be able to document them back to the CASS rulebook.Previous experience of process improvement with a view to developing/enhancing controlExcellence in executionExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skill;Demonstrated ability to use initiative and work unsupervised in a proactive manner, and good time management;Conflict resolution skills with a collaborative and consensual approach to work, a good team player;Ability to influence senior staff outside of your direct team.
