We are looking for a reliable and guest-oriented Cashier to manage transactions and support the smooth operation of our restaurant. As part of the service team, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming dining experience while ensuring accurate and secure handling of payments.

Your Role in the Restaurant

Greet guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.Manage billing processes including payments, voids, and cancellations in line with company policies.Maintain an accurate cash float and reconcile transactions at the beginning and end of shifts.Ensure the POS system and cashier drawer are secure and not left unattended.Upsell food and beverage items where appropriate based on guest preferences.Provide menu guidance with a clear understanding of dietary restrictions and promotions.Support the team during service periods and assist with floor duties when required.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cashier station in accordance with health and safety standards.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or high-volume restaurant setting.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-focused environment.Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.Attention to detail, especially when processing payments and balancing accounts.Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.Able to remain calm and professional during busy service hours.Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
