Cashier

 

Role Purpose

Driving Customer Satisfaction through the effective management of all activities in the Cashier office or Trade Express, relating to ensuring that products are received, stored accurately and that Customer Deliveries/Collections are executed in a timely and efficient manner.

 

1.           Ensure correct screen for transaction to be processed on WPRO

2.           PROCEDURE

3.           Receive scanned product list from customer

4.           Capture customer account no.

5.           Correct capturing of scanned product list to create transaction

6.           Compare invoice to scanned product list -report variances to scanner

7.           Receive correct amount and check the validity of money received by making use of smart box system

8.           Ensure correct capturing and issuing of change.

9.           Give invoice timeously to customer

10.        Adhere to security of cash office and ensure neatness of work area

11.        Prompt customer service

12.        Filing of invoices –Ensure invoices is signed/report exceptions to admin/manager

13.        Ensure correct cash up procedure and fault-finding.

14.        Fill out register for smart box tampers.

15.        Keep record of smart box faults – reference number obtained when logging call to call centre.169.    Follow correct procedures IRO cash handling company.

16.        Follow correct safe case procedures
