Job Overview

The Cashier is responsible for accurately counting and documenting cash collections across all route disciplines while ensuring a secured work environment. This position is also responsible for maintaining internal audit controls in regard to cash, coin equipment, and documentation. The Cashier is also responsible for ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The casher may also support and function in other administrative functions.

Duties & Responsibilities Accurately counts cash, coin, and checks nightly  Posts required daily documentation to CCCI's internal systems using Microsoft Office and CONA system Responsible for reconciling monies against documentation Documents daily cash room activities, including but not limited to nightly route deposit information, route variances, full-service placements, and removals and full-service key logs Tracks driver cash variances (missing checks, cash) for audit purposes via an excel spreadsheet Maintains cash room security level and reports any related issues Conducts a bi-annual check of security systems, cameras, alarms, and the cash room door Maintains internal audit controls with cash, equipment, and documentation Assists Office Coordinator(s) with setup and execution of branch stewardship activities and other administrative (may include other duties as assigned) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Basic math and reading skills required Basic computer skills required with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision in a timely manner Preferred strong organizational skills Preferred problem-solving skills Lifting bags of coins and other items as needed Occasional bending and lifting up to 30 lbs Must be able to work a flexible schedule off shifts, staggered work shift, holiday work Optional use of cell as needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience Preferred Qualifications
