Responsibilities Provides application support by providing technical support, root cause diagnosis and resolution, documentation, and trainingUtilizes the company's issue tracking system, Service Desk, to document customer contacts, issues, and requestsEnsures proper documentation, timely follow-up, appropriate escalation, and resolution of reported issuesAssists users with application navigationUnderstands the critical nature of the business and makes every reasonable effort to achieve defined service level agreement expectations and/or provide acceptable workaroundsUtilizes system knowledge as a part of troubleshooting and researching customer issues, and shares knowledge with customers and colleagues by submitting frequently asked questions for publicationCommunicates with management regarding any recommendations involving change in processes that will improve efficiencies for approval.Reviews employee payroll information and process data for paychecksReviews and reconciles the timekeeping system weekly ensuring that all time is entered and approved by the supervisor each day and imports and reconciles hours from the timekeeping system into the Payroll system weeklyInputs weekly hourly and/or biweekly salaried payroll information in an accurate and timely manner including overtime, deductions, and exceptionsPrepares, reconciles and transmits ADP payroll files and verifies reconciliation report to ensure accuracy of data entry and recordsInvestigates and responds to inquiries regarding deductions, payments, allowances or discrepancies in payMaintains strict confidentiality of dataOther duties as assigned Qualifications Two years of Technical Training or an Associate Degree, preferredOne years of experience working in a Customer Service Industry, preferably with Phone System Management experience is requiredStrong analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving skills within complex enterprise systemsAbility to diagnose and resolve routine and advanced system technical issues, involving other resources when necessaryAbility to make quick decisions & take appropriate actions consistent with available facts, constraints, and anticipated consequences
