We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Cash Applications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately recording and reconciling incoming payments from customers to ensure timely and accurate processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Process incoming payments from customers and accurately apply them to the appropriate accountsReconcile payment discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely mannerPrepare and record daily deposits and reconcile bank statementsInvestigate and resolve any payment posting errors or discrepanciesWork closely with the accounts receivable team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of paymentsGenerate reports and provide data analysis related to cash applications as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.4+ years of experience in cash applications or accounts receivableStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial softwareExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced)  MAS 200, D365, Dynamics AX experience a plus
