Job Title: Cash Application Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cash Application Specialist to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely posting of customer payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cash application processes and experience working with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately post incoming payments to customer and/or General Ledger accounts in NetSuite systems.Research and resolve payments received without remittance information.Reconcile cash receipts between bank accounts and NetSuite systems.Verify the accuracy and validity of deductions and discounts.Collaborate with the Collections department to resolve misapplied, duplicate, or overpayments.Assist in researching and resolving unapplied cash.Maintain organized records and reports of bank statements, payments, and remittances.Qualifications & Competencies
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in cash application or a related finance role.Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
