Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. This is a long-term contract position that requires expertise in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate processing of payments. Responsibilities: • Process incoming payments and accurately apply them to appropriate accounts. • Utilize accounting software systems to manage and record financial transactions. • Maintain and update accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy. • Handle cash posting and applications, ensuring timely and efficient processing. • Collaborate with billing teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper invoicing. • Monitor and reconcile automated clearing house (ACH) transactions. • Perform data analysis and reporting to support financial decision-making. • Work with Epic System software to streamline financial operations. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all accounting functions. Requirements • Strong proficiency in accounting software systems and financial tools. • Hands-on experience with cash applications and accounts receivable processes. • Familiarity with Epic System software is highly preferred. • Knowledge of automated clearing house (ACH) procedures and billing functions. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing. • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
