Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, and offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient processing of financial transactions and accounts receivable operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in cash posting and familiarity with accounting software systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks. Responsibilities: • Process cash applications and postings with precision, ensuring alignment with company protocols. • Manage accounts receivable tasks, including reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies. • Utilize accounting software systems to streamline billing and payment operations. • Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and related processes. • Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and provide regular reports to management. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues and improve workflows. • Apply knowledge of Epic Systems to facilitate data processing and system integration. • Support the billing functions by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. • Continuously monitor for errors in financial data and implement corrective measures. • Assist in developing process improvements to enhance efficiency in cash application procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in cash applications and accounts receivable functions. • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Epic Systems. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and related protocols. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data processing. • Solid understanding of billing and cash posting processes. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Previous experience in a contract position is a plus.
