Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Wickliffe, Ohio. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will play a key role in managing cash application processes and maintaining accurate financial records. If you have strong accounts receivable experience and proficiency in accounting systems, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: • Process and apply incoming payments to customer accounts with accuracy and efficiency. • Reconcile cash receipts and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable. • Utilize tools such as Excel and Outlook to manage financial data and communication. • Handle ACH transactions and other electronic payment methods effectively. • Monitor and maintain accurate records of billing and cash activity. • Support the accounting team with data processing and reporting tasks as needed. • Leverage knowledge of accounting software systems, including CyberSource and Epic, to streamline operations. Requirements • Proven experience in cash applications and accounts receivable processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for managing financial data and correspondence. • Familiarity with accounting systems such as CyberSource, Epic Software, or similar tools. • Strong understanding of ACH and other electronic payment methods. • Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data with attention to detail. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve account discrepancies. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
