Description We are looking for motivated Cash Application Specialists to join our Accounts Receivable team on a contract basis in Garland, Texas. In this role, you will help reconcile and apply cash to outstanding accounts while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with multiple financial systems and large datasets, contributing to the improvement of cash application processes. Responsibilities: • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash applications using Blackline and other financial systems. • Reconcile accounts receivable balances by analyzing large datasets in Excel, utilizing tools such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP. • Navigate through multiple financial portals to locate and confirm transaction details. • Generate and analyze reports from various databases to monitor cash application progress. • Collaborate with team members to enhance processes and streamline accounts receivable reconciliation. • Assist in identifying opportunities for system improvements and standardizing AR workflows. • Ensure timely and accurate application of cash to outstanding accounts. • Provide support in managing workflows within a multi-system environment. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address and resolve payment-related issues. Requirements • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and track progress. • Familiarity with accounting software systems and accounts receivable processes. • Experience in cash applications or accounting-related roles. • Ability to work with large datasets and maintain accuracy in reconciliation. • Knowledge of financial systems such as Blackline or a willingness to learn. • Previous experience in a multi-system AR environment is preferred. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
