Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong analytical skills and expertise in accounts receivable (AR) processes. The role requires proficiency in Excel and a commitment to ensuring accurate and efficient cash application operations. Responsibilities: • Process and reconcile incoming payments to ensure accurate application of cash activity. • Manage accounts receivable transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures. • Utilize Excel functions such as pivot tables and vlookups to analyze financial data. • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and improve efficiency. • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare relevant reports. • Assist in streamlining billing processes and enhancing automated clearing house (ACH) operations. • Support the implementation and optimization of accounting software systems. • Monitor and address issues related to cash application and ensure timely resolutions. • Provide insights and recommendations for improving workflow and reducing errors. • Work in a hybrid schedule, with three days in-office each week. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or cash application roles. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups. • Familiarity with accounting software systems and data processing tools. • Knowledge of automated clearing house (ACH) processes and billing functions. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and adhering to deadlines.
