Description We are looking for a skilled Cash Application Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate processing and reconciliation of financial transactions. Responsibilities: • Process and reconcile incoming payments to ensure accurate cash application. • Utilize accounting software systems to manage and track cash posting efficiently. • Handle accounts receivable tasks, including payment verification and adjustments. • Perform automated clearing house (ACH) transactions with precision and compliance. • Collaborate with billing teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records. • Ensure timely and accurate posting of payments using Epic System software. • Analyze and resolve issues related to cash applications and financial discrepancies. • Support the implementation and optimization of data processing workflows. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting practices and relevant financial systems. Requirements • Proven experience in cash applications and accounts receivable processes. • Proficiency with accounting software systems, including Epic System. • Strong understanding of automated clearing house (ACH) transactions. • Familiarity with billing and cash posting functions. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to handle large volumes of data processing accurately. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
