Job Overview

The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 1 is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments, trade transactions, and wholesale card activity.

Responsibilities:

Process all regular, restricted and legal transfers; which include processing of payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activityEnsure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvementsEvaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedentAnticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendorsContribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as neededDevelop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectivesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

Previous relevant experience preferredFundamental comprehension of financial industry regulationsEffective verbal and written skillsEffective communication and analytical skills


Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience


This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

The person is required to scrutinize document, perform sanctions, engage with client in case of exceptions , getting resolution in order to process the transaction. The person also need to engage with clients, sales etc for client query handling before any large ticket processing. The person should have good analytical skills to assess new business support and should be able to drive ongoing projects and any incremnetal regulatory development. The person should be conversant with FEMA regulation and related processing of service related payment. The person must possess good written and oral communication skills.
