Cash Accountant Analyst

Job Description 

The Treasury Cash Accountant is responsible for building and executing treasury-related controllership and risk management activities. This role will own key accounting, controls, and policy monitoring processes across the global treasury function, enabling  strategic financial decision-making while maintaining compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, applied knowledge of key financial control concepts governing treasury, a solid understanding of financial markets, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

Analyze and reconcile global cash accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate, timely recording of transactionsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual treasury reports, assisting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesEnsure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and industry standards across cash, debt and equityAssist with account administration including online banking access, automatic transfers and other key attributesSupport complex foreign currency and hedging program via trade entry, settlement and accounting reviewSupport inter-company and working capital management activities, collaborating with other departments (Tax, Legal, Corporate Accounting) to optimize cash flowDevelop and implement treasury policies and procedures

What Do You Need To Bring? 

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CTP, or CFA preferred3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting functionStrong knowledge of treasury operations, banking transactions, and financial instrumentsProficiency in financial systems and treasury management software (e.g., Peoplesoft, SAP, Kyriba, GTreasury, FXAll)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlinesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred:Experience in multinational or corporate treasury functionsKnowledge of financial risk management and FX hedgingUnderstanding of regulatory compliance related to treasury operations
