CARRIER SALES INTERN

As a Carrier Sales Intern, you’ll support our Carrier Sales Representatives by helping to build and maintain strong carrier relationships, monitor freight shipments, and assist with logistics coordination. You’ll gain hands-on experience in transportation brokerage and logistics management from a supportive team in our high-energy downtown Chicago HQ. This internship is ideal for students who are eager to explore a career in sales, supply chain, or logistics within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

 

What the Job Entails:

Assist Carrier Sales Representatives in sourcing, developing, and maintaining relationships with freight carriersHelp identify capacity and match available carriers with open shipmentsCommunicate shipment details to dispatchers and driversTrack shipments and provide real-time updates on delivery statusTroubleshoot mid-transit issues under guidance from the Carrier Sales teamSupport data entry, rate confirmations, and operational tasks to ensure shipment accuracyContribute to daily team meetings and help strategize on coverage planning

What We Are Looking For: 

Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fieldA strong interest in sales, transportation, or supply chain operationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEnergetic, detail-oriented, and ready to learnComfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving mindset and organizational abilitiesSelf-starter with a team-player attitude
