Why we need this roleCarrier Relations is a key enabler for Colt to meet the increasingly global demands of Enterprises and key Wholesale partners. The team is focused on continuous cost improvement and revenue acceleration initiatives to meet Colt’s business objectives by constantly managing and monitoring existing Access Supplier performance, on-boarding new suppliers, or driving targeted investments to increase the availability of the Colt portfolio - deepening and/ or broadening the existing Colt footprint to address this demand.
What you will do Responsible for the successful development, integration, and ongoing management of a portfolio of Carrier Access products/services available to support Colt's product portfolio. Develop and execute on country commercial strategy with a prime focus on cost reduction and optimisation and competitive advantages to deliver profitable revenue growth. Responsible for supplier management: negotiations, contracts and overall relationship Can secure tactical optimal access and network solutions with optimal pricing to support key customer bids. Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are in place and aligned with Colt Product SLAs offered to Colt customers, validating monthly reporting KPIs to ensure quotations, orders and invoices do not deviate and where necessary are corrected through formal dispute with Carriers. Manage and maintain repository of Carrier Access product contracts, working with Legal to revise, make amendments or add addendums where necessary. Work closely with Regulatory teams to monitor systemic risk or non-adherence to Pricing and SLA rules, to provide evidence leading to Legal Dispute if necessary. Also to identify potential risks to Access portfolio, market share and revenue retention from potential commercial, technical or government policy disrupters. Build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Technical Solutions, Product & Technology, Customer Experience (Delivery and Assurance) Marketing and Pricing) and promote effective cross functional working. Actively drives network expansion together with Product and the Engineering teams. Initiates Access migrations or network grooming. Knowledge about the market in North America, preferred. Knowledge of transatlantic and transpacific cable systems, landing stations and LATAM, useful.Key performance indicators are:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage and develop Colt's off net circuit supply arrangements to; enable sales business units to sell more effectively increasing revenue and improving margin. Manage Colt's off net inventory to reduce cost leakage or exposure to cost penalties. Contribute to the supplier/partner strategy through; management of existing contract and SLA's. Maintenance of contact and SLA documentation ensuring all documents current and at latest level of revision. Support Colt's overall business strategy by; contributing to growth in revenue through support of sales channels. Improving margin on off net sales through selection of best products and service. Develop and drive country plans and opportunities to enable profitable revenue generation and growth. Improving customer satisfaction scores through management and application of off net supplier SLA's and Service review process Manage the SOC budget and identification of opportunitis to reduce cost What we're looking forSkills & Experience:
Proven B2B experience in telecommunications, systems integration, or IT. Background in Carrier Management, Business Development, or Network Development. Experience in commercial agreement modelling and investment appraisal. Demonstrated success in achieving year-on-year cost reductions. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinking and project coordination capabilities. Comfortable working cross-functionally and with Sales teams.Qualifications:
Degree in economics, business, or telecommunications (preferred). Direct experience in a carrier relations environment. CIPS qualification or international equivalent (preferred but not essential). Fluent in written and spoken English.Additional Knowledge:
